iDEA is a national project that helps you badge your brilliance. An ambitious project to offering nationally recognised awards for young people wanting to go into the digital industries.

iDEA is a national educational programme that helps anyone develop digital, enterprise and employability skills for free. Through their series of online games known as badges, learners gain industry recognised Bronze and Silver certificates. After successfully working on iDEA’s Bronze Award badges, Toasted Digital was commissioned as sole supplier of their Silver Award and tasked with producing 15 educational web games that would form the centrepiece of the award and iDEA’s latest campaign.

The project

What We Delivered

Toasted Digital worked closely with iDEA to understand their campaign objectives and identity. The games had to meet crucial pedagogical and campaign targets, be fully compatible on all modern devices and provide an engaging digital experience which was as accessible as possible. Toasted Digital delivered 15 Silver and 15 Bronze award games in total.

iDEA Silver was launched in November 2018 with a panel of industry leaders discussing the positive impact and wide reach that iDEA has had in their sectors including education, business and local authority. The quality of production and learning objectives have been praised by influencers and learners. To date there are 1.6 million completions of Toasted Digital produced badges with the platform growing week on week. Toasted Digital continues to work closely with iDEA as a digital partner providing technical and creative support.
